What is a Benefits Analysis?

This site is intended for informational purposes only. Individual situations vary widely and must be evaluated on an individual basis by Division of Family Resources eligibility caseworkers, or Social Security Claims Representatives and/or Indiana Works-Community Works Incentive Coordinators. Links to and from this site are provided to help individuals research various topics and do not constitute endorsements by the State of Indiana, its partners or Votech Rehab LLC.

Benefits Analysis is a service intended to assist persons with disabilities, who receive Social Security disability benefits and other public benefits, to understand benefit, entitlement, and economic assistance programs as they relate to work and earnings.

This service may be authorized through the Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services to consumers in order to assist them in determining income levels for economic self-sufficiency.

This assistance may include providing information on, clarifying eligibility criteria, accessing work incentive programs, or information on different benefit options. It is important for an individual with a disability to understand the relationship between their employment goals and their benefits.

The Benefits Information Network

Funded by Indiana's Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) and Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services and administered through the Center on Community Living and Careers .

The Benefits Information Network (BIN) is improving the ability of people with disabilities to use and access federal and state work incentives by providing an informed, efficient network of Indiana benefits information counselors and organizations that provide disability support services.

Votech Rehab is pleased ot be a part of the BIN. Vicky Horstman, President first became BIN certified in 2010. She continues to attend a minimum of one training per year to keep abreast of any changes of regulations, guidelines or incentives.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to J.C. of Mooresville!

Low-Tech = Low Cost

Assistive technology is not always high-tech, nor is it always expensive. There are great low-tech items available at no or low cost, to help you accomplish everyday tasks.

Look around your home, or take a trip to your local hardware store. Use your imagination, or the imagination of those around you to come up with simple solutions to common accessibility barriers.
